I am kind of in such situation. I am hurting with the thoughts of having to give up my dreams. Parents (senior citizens) may not say explicitly that I should be there for them. I dont have to decide today on any career path / personal goals. Its better to decide on a normal day than while being in hospital. (Father had angioplasty day before. Found out during a routine checkup. Everything is normal now.) I don’t know whom to talk about this openly. Any talk would be helpful. Maybe the details are not enough to advise on. I don’t feel like sharing more in this post, sorry. Send some hugs please. submitted by /u/TodayEasy949
