Let’s talk about the elephant in the room that the anti-AI crowd refuses to acknowledge. The “sadistic” hatred toward AI on this platform isn’t just about “creativity”—it’s often about Gatekeeping.

  1. Bridging the Language Gap Not everyone is a native English speaker or had the privilege of a high-end private school education. For millions, AI is the bridge. It takes their brilliant ideas, which might be stuck behind “broken” English, and polishes them into a professional format.
  2. The End of “High-Class” Monopoly For decades, “High-Class” English speakers held a monopoly on corporate roles, academic prestige, and social influence purely because of their vocabulary. Now, someone from a small town in India can use an LLM to draft a resume, a job email, or a research paper that is at par with a Harvard grad. The jealous reaction we see? It’s the “Elite” realizing that their only “skill”, superior English, is no longer a barrier to entry for everyone else. AI has brought the world to a level playing field.
  3. Efficiency is Not a Sin In 2026, typing a 1000-word post manually isn’t a sign of “soul”, it’s often just a waste of time. AI handles the formatting and syntax so we can focus on the Logic and Strategy . Whether it’s solving code, diagnosing diseases in medicine, or rendering VFX in cinema, AI is a mechanical necessity.
  4. The “Prompter” is the New “Writer” No AI works on its own. It requires data curation, specific prompting, and a human mind to guide it. You are still the creator; you’re just using a faster pen. The Verdict: If you hate AI because it makes “perfect English” accessible to everyone, you don’t care about “authenticity”, you care about your fading privilege. AI is the most essential skill in the job market today. Without it, you aren’t “staying true to your roots”; you’re just staying behind. P.S:(+) I come from a non-native English speaking country wherein English-speaking is considered as a sign of being properly educated. Is it time we stop mocking AI users and admit that we’re just scared of a world where “effort” isn’t measured by how long you spent typing? submitted by /u/GroundbreakingBad183
