I started a job where I am stressing myself out every day to prove that I am a good designer, although I already have 10 years of experience, and today I found the salary of the previous designer who had only around 5 years of experience, and it was significantly higher. I didn’t specifically dig for it, they didn’t even change the email when they gave me the laptop. It is my first job in the country and I have no problems with the language or anything. Just last month they gave me a raise of 200 CHF and it again goes nowhere near what she earned. Not sure what to do, I feel scammed to give so much from myself and now I feel super undervalued. Obviously another raise is out of question as it happened just a month ago, but finding out the salary difference unmotivated me so much. Looking for any advice. What would you do? Is this normal to give a new hire 1000 franks less when they start, although they being more experience? submitted by /u/AffectionateCat01
