Due to the changes, I’m re-writing all of my own tooling that I’ve made to be platform agnostic since claude-agent-sdk is no longer an anthropic advantage. They think it’s going to make them more money but all it’s doing is pushing people to stop using it. Maybe that was the intent due to their available compute issues. But from my perspective, I am now incentivized to explore tooling that gives orchestrator agents the ability to complete tasks without spawning or shelling out and in doing so I’m escaping the claude code lock in.
