’ve noticed something in different countries that I don’t fully understand. When I go grocery shopping on Saturdays, I often see couples where the man seems disengaged or bored, just pushing the cart, while the woman appears to be deciding what goes into it. I’m in a relationship myself, and I honestly don’t understand how someone would be okay with that dynamic. I can’t imagine just standing there without having an opinion or being involved. To me, grocery shopping is part of shared responsibility. Maybe I’m misreading the situation. Maybe it’s just efficient division of roles. Maybe some people genuinely don’t care about what gets bought. Or maybe there’s something else going on. I’m not trying to judge, I’m genuinely curious how other men see this. Is this something you relate to? If so, why? submitted by /u/Pluslife12
