Hey there I need to build a website for my new company. I have researched various possible options (AI builders from Hostinger or Wordpress, 10web, Google AI studio etc.). Actually I decided to do the following:
- use WOrdpress with Elementor Pro (without using integrated AI solutions)
- setting up a project/space in Claude / Gemini / ChatGPT with decent sources about website creation with Wordpress & Elementor. This should be my “coach” and I want to use this to guide me through the process step by step But now I “stumbled” over Claude Code and the hype and I am pretty impressed. My question for you guys: would you recommend using claude code to build and more importantly maintain a website? It is not a blog website but content needs to be updated regularly. I am especially worried about page speed, ranking and SEO / AEO. Has anybody used claude code for this? How much “technical” skill is needed compared to my solution that I had in mind first (Wordpress & AI-Coach)? Many thanks! Dominic submitted by /u/RicolaSwiss213654
