I asked Claude a simple a very very very simple thing. Export 780 nodes from Pencil.dev (an ai design tool but more like Figma and has own MCP) For 4 hours Claude tried, gave me bunch of reasons such as it can’t export because MCP becomes unresponsive or the amount of nodes are too much and even at some point it literally suggested me to export one by one using GUI because it simply can not do it. I told. it to export 10 nodes at a time, I told it to export as JPG because seemingly it is faster and more performant. It did for first 10 nodes and exported and then told me that this going to take too much time and AGAIN suggested me to do export one by one myself. For 4 hours, Claude literally made me had anger burst, wanted to punch things. Then shut it down, fired up codex. Only one prompt. Export all 780 nodes for each language, seperated by folders, ten at a time. Codex also faced all problems Claude had. Eventually Codex said i’m gonna write a script that restarts Pencil everytime it is frozen or become unresponsive. Codex did it. After 4 hours of trying to convince this fucking Claude, codex gave me all my designs properly sorted in exactly 14 minutes. EXACTLY 14 MINUTES. Fuck you Anthropic. submitted by /u/selimbeyefendi
