Bought an Ely like 6 months ago because there was nothing left to buy, though I’m not even sure if I got much use out of it. Genuinely asking if there are any creative uses for an Ely. Here’s how I’ve used it meaningfully and my experience: Learning Yama contracts for white oathplate > not sure if it did anything or mitigated any dmg. I think it can mitigate if you miss a pray? But not wave dmg which is what will kill u Solo corp (quick-pool) > not sure if it did much, felt like the same level of annoying as using a defender General graardor (solo melee) > actually felt good, noticeable less dmg, but definitely doesn’t beat range + red X methods where u take no dmg. Running pillars in colo > this one might actually be good since it fits as an off-hand to ur ayak. Though I’m not certain it’s more effective than a bulwark. Curious if you guys have any other cool uses for an Ely besides fashionscape submitted by /u/Prize-Location-2842
