Hi guys. So, recently I’ve been talking to a guy I met on Twitter. We eventually shared our faces and followed each other on Instagram. He seems like a nice guy, but the conversation wasn’t amazing, and once I saw what he looked like, I realized I wasn’t attracted to him at all. The thing is, how can I handle this without being rude? I just know he’s not my type, but telling him “Hey, I prefer not to keep talking because I’m not attracted to you” feels a bit too aggressive, especially since we’ve been chatting for a few days. I’ve read that men prefer women to be direct and sincere. However, when someone hasn’t explicitly asked for a relationship or said they like you, bringing it up can backfire. In the past, when I’ve said “Hey, I don’t think you’re my type,” I’ve received replies like: “Who do you think you are?” or “I wasn’t even interested in you anyway.” Because of that, I never know what the best way is to handle this situation. submitted by /u/throwaway_aahc
