I just started using claude Pro and hut usage limit in under an hour, and then spent $12 in the next hour on API tokens. It does good work but this is very expensive. I could probably hire a decent dev in India for less than this. Which model/settings should I use to get better value? A small performance hit is fine… perhaps to be on par with models from 6 months ago or something? submitted by /u/MOBT_
