Depends on your industry. Banking, tends to avoid new tech. The medical industry likes new tech, but has seriously steep requirements in some areas. Mainly places people might lose their money, or lose their life, that tend to evolve slowly and begrudgingly. They’ve seen a lot of tech come and go, and new just means dangerous to most them.
