In my case, she broke up but perhaps not completely, may be open to getting back and definitely has some emotions still and likes talking to me. But that leads me to overthink what she actually feels and what I should do next. submitted by /u/No_Net_7163

If that emotional intelligence doesn’t come naturally, it will come with age.
For now, what I can say is try to do what’s best for you, independently of whom you chose to share yourself with. Unstable relationships are not good for you.
If she doesn’t know what to do. It’s her problem. But let her clearly know about your feelings, be transparent and make sure she understands your time valuable.
Emotional stability is a basic need to prosper in life.
