Maybe this is a stupid question, but I ask because every man is different (and there is definitely a stereotype that all men are naturally protectors/providers). Obviously the context of a situation plays a massive role here too. How protective are you over your significant other when they’re clearly being treated unfairly in a group setting? Or how about a much more severe case where you have to interact with a person/family member who you know has physically/mentally abused them in some way? Do you steer clear of the whole situation? Or do you show that protectiveness front and center, or even in private later?
