I’d like to start this post by saying that I know there are probably better and more appropriate subs for this post, but I wanted to try my luck once more given the high response rate from my “how to lose beer belly” post on here two months ago. I (M23, 175cm, 68kg) started my fitness journey three weeks ago with a 6-day home workout routine combined with healthy eating. Started tracking my macros and I’m cutting 200 kcals from my maintenance to lose the body fat. Lifting 3-4 times a week (push, pull, shoulders, upper body) to gain muscles. On top of all that, I do cardio every day (30 mins treadmill after each home workout session + evening walks after last meal) I’m not seeing much progress (except maybe my waist circumference decreased by 2 inches) but I was told beginners usually observe quicker gains? Am I doing something wrong? Am I overworking myself with the daily cardio? I also made sure to put my leg day between push and pull days to give my arms some rest for active recovery. I’m sleeping plenty (though not very good) and I hit my macros more or less daily. I know progress takes time and consistency above all else, but I would like to know whether I’m doing something incorrectly so I could work on improving it for better results. I wouldn’t want to wait another three weeks just to realise I jumped the gun too intensely very quickly. Thanks! P.S. my main goal is to lose body fat while putting on muscles submitted by /u/Ok-Enthusiasm-4139
