so my husband has best friend for over 20 years and they’re very close. he thinks very highly of him and believes that he is a very good person. i recently has a long conversation with his wife during which she told me how absolutely terrible her husband is to her. seriously awful as a husband and a father. and she wasn’t saying this to particularly bitch about him but more in a general conversation like this is a completely normal thing for her, he’s angry all the time, shouts at her for everything, dismisses her completely, no love, emotional support or anything. he even sleeps in another room because he doesn’t want to deal with their two kids wanting attention. he isolates her, didn’t let her get her educational licence, doesn’t like when she wants to visit her family or friends. an absolute vile person knowing how much my husband loves his best friend i don’t know if i should say anything. im sure he’s a good friend but he seems like a terrible human being and i can’t see him the same way anymore submitted by /u/sleepingseb
