Global private hospital insurance I was wondering about the ‘world wide private hospital insurance’ ( like swica hospita global , or helsana hospital private) It seems to cover everything abroad (planned and emergency). It is an high premium obviously but i am wondering if someone had experience with usual check ups / treatments in foreign country where one is originally from. How is the insurance treating them ? Lets say you have a problem and visit doctor to check up while in that country. Doctor bills x amount. You have lamal franchise 2500 chf , but also private hospital insurance with 0 deductible. Doctor asks you to do xyz tests as well. Total cost of treatment 1500 chf Would be happy if some people would share some experience with such ‘global private insurance’ products. submitted by /u/Agile-Bullfrog-2206
