We’ve put out a new client update to address some bugs experienced with the release on Monday. This brings your client to 238.4 (yes we skipped a number!) This addresses:
- Fixed a rendering issue that broke depth sorting in some areas, resulting in flickering and black ground spots, including fairy rings and some boss rooms.
- Mobile - Fixed an issue where Game Center/Google Play accounts weren’t remembered correctly between sessions, causing issues with mobile character switcher.
- Reverted the change made that allowed tapping the game window to dismiss the on-screen keyboard. This is due to the feature impacting unintended areas of the game. Please check your app store for the update, and if you’ve experienced issues since Monday, please try again and let us know if they haven’t been resolved. We are aware of the following issue, which isn’t fixed with this update:
- Some devices are unable to accept or decline the Privacy Policy box, or close it. We’re still investigating this issue. submitted by /u/JagexBlossom
