I have been using Claude Code for a few years now, but recently it has been doing a really bad job. I tried to run a simple task using Opus 4.7 on max effort with thinking mode enabled. It looped for 19 minutes without success and ended up breaking my project. Meanwhile, Gemini 3.5 Flash has been giving me perfect results, working for less than 5 minutes with almost zero errors. It is frustrating to use Claude right now when Gemini works so well. Is anyone else dealing with this lately?
