My brain is absolutely knackered after 8 hours. I work in a Scientific role in a lab, spending all my day in front of the PC. I get - to my mind - a lot of calls and emails, from colleagues and customers. I usually have to keep track of multiple samples/issues everyday. I have to coordinate the client’s needs with the methods that we offer, with regulation requirements, and then with different divisions in our lab. I am in this field for 2,5 years now. Usually after work I have like 20-30% of my energy left. My brain feels cooked! I often just get the bare minimum done after work. I’m just wondering: Is this normal? How much energy do you have left after work? Also, what really helped you with that? How big of a difference did regular exercise make for you? submitted by /u/jizzlewit
