Hi everyone 💛 I hope it’s OK to post something a little personal here. My husband was laid off last summer and, despite being incredibly proactive in his job search, things have been much harder than we expected. He worked for many years as a Project Manager in Life Sciences, and while he has had interviews, the market around Lausanne/Vaud feels very saturated at the moment. After all these months, I can tell it’s starting to affect his confidence a bit, which is hard to watch when you know how capable and hardworking someone is. I’m not looking to ask anyone for favors, but I thought maybe this wonderful community might know of an opening, a company hiring, or even just someone worth reaching out to. He is Dutch, speaks fluent English (he was actually an English teacher in another life 😊), has years of experience in project management within Life Sciences/pharma, and is currently doing an intensive French course to improve his French as quickly as possible.
