I’m using Exa MCP inside Claude Desktop for a few months for a specific task, I do pre-call research for sales. Before any intro call I run a quick agent workflow to pull recent news, funding history, team changes, recent press. Used to take me 2 hours manually, now it’s under 5 minutes lol The problem started when I run it on 15-20 companies back to back and it starts throttling, just stops getting results, has to retry, sometimes drops context entirely. Looked into it and rate limiting during peak usage is apparently a known thing. I didn’t find a clean workaround that doesn’t involve adding delays and breaking the whole point of having an agent do it. I want to know what people are using as Exa MCP alternatives for this kind of agentic research workflow inside Claude submitted by /u/North-Aardvark4680
