I recently ordered a laptop and everything I have been doing is 90% from phone. I am currently working on a modular python pharmacist app, not shipping just testing, and I know i am very very limited to what I can do vs what is on the computer. I have thonny on my gf mac and Pyroid3 on my phone for UI and other manual tests. My code knowledge is weak, so I do not and never will take everything the AI says as fact, as it doesnt know either. Im going to start learning to write code more than just a basic calculator when I can sit down at a pc. I dont know much or at all about computers, except how to run them basically and I have no coding or cs background. I just started this 30 days ago. Questions I have if anyone can help What programs are beginner friendly for coding and learning? Not just AI, but anything that helps. What work flow do u guys use. Mine is basically something like Build base-test/patch/doc, build one new expansion, test/patch/doc, and repeat over and over and over. Any helpful tips for when I start writing or using claude on the computer more? Im looking into work flow and ways people go about testing and stuff right now so eventually when I do learn how to write, ill already know the process sorta or just a base layer, which is better than none. I know documentation is important, source of trurth, diffing, some testing like logic test, fuzzing, but thats almost it. I feel like I did all this backwards, lol, but learning things while I cant do something felt better than just sitting. Thanks for any help or pointers! submitted by /u/lostsoulfs
