I was having a conversation with my girl friends the other day, and we were talking about what we think when we see porn or an attractive person. Like me, they all said “I see the attractive person on screen or in real life, I have a feeling of arousal, and then I think of my boyfriend.” However, I have heard many men (and one woman) say when they watch porn, they imagine themselves in the porno. Or when they see an attractive woman, they imagine her naked or imagine doing things with her. I’ve heard in monogamous committed relationships say this. But I just haven’t gotten a lot of male perspectives, as I don’t have many male friends. So, I recognize men are not a monolith and I’d like to hear what you all think!
