I asked because I’ve noticed a trend in my company’s interview process. I’ll give you an example. Even if we list the salary range $75000-95000 for an assistant project manger (which is within industry standards), men in their mid-thirties and younger will ask for much higher. A recent guy who made it to the offer stage asked for $130000, which is in the project manager range and requires much more skills and experience than what he’s bringing to the table. submitted by /u/ZestyGolf7654
