No existential crisis (had that one already when I went from Trinitarian [Catholic] to atheist in my preteen years, lol), I just gave monotheism and belief a shot in earnest. There were other circumstances but I guess I could’ve gone without… thank God I didn’t! I recommend an appetizer of daoism as an epistemological palate cleanser for a lot of Church-related nonsense before anything, and also some general Continental philosophy knowledge (why was Socrates wise? What did Hume say about things that are and things that “should be”? What did Nietzsche mean? Why is Kierkegaard based? Where did Kant get his moral imperative from? 😅).
