so i been using both for like couple months now and honestly im still confused which one is more powerful when it comes to actual bug fixing like gemini feels fast and the context window is huge i can throw whole codebase at it but sometimes it just confidently gives me wrong fix and i waste hour debugging the debug lol claude on other hand feels like it actually reads the code properly before suggesting stuff specially for tricky logic bugs or weird async issues it usually nails it first try but for simple stuff it can be slower anyone here actually switched from one to other for bug fixing what was your experience did you notice big difference in real projects not those benchmark tests they all show also does it matter what language youre debugging in heard claude is better at python and ts but gemini handles bigger java codebases better is that true or just internet talk im littke bit confused tbh just wanna pick one and stop switching back and forth every week submitted by /u/startupwith_jonathan
