I was walking my dog late at night, when a random man chased me down. I called my brother (I thought that if the man heard I was on the phone, it would make him go away), when this man started to make speed. I mid sentence hung up my brother, called the emergency number and luckily was able to run into a bar. Later my brother arrived being all worried. And all I could think when I saw his was, ‘wow I would have been the one to put you in between me and this crazy man’. When I asked him if he was okay and how it felt during the drive to mentally prepare to possibly fight, he said to stop being stupid and not worry about that. The thing is, he’s big but he’s so gentle and never fights or argue with anybody. And what if he wasn’t a big guy. So, men of Reddit: how does it truly feel to being the first one some women look at in a physically dangerous situation? submitted by /u/Mangoplop
