I don’t know what it is, but I somehow always end up with a creepy women that doesn’t get the hint that I find them a bit creepy, outside of just straight up telling them that I don’t know how to deal with the situation. In the past I’ve just been able to avoid them or change the time I go to the gym etc. Currently have a situation where there is a woman that lives in nearby apartments and I would occasionally see her walking my dog as she walked hers in the community park. The very first time she approached me she asked if it was okay for her dog to say hi to mine and I politely rejected telling her that my dog isn’t the friendliest and it would be best not to introduce them. 2nd time I ran in to, she just kind of appeared in front of me as I was walking my dog, she cut a crossed a parking lot to get in front of me and I couldn’t see her because of bushes blocking the view, my dog actually liked her dog. Ran in to her a few more times because her and mine dog got along and it was nice to see him having a good interaction with another dog. Eventually she would start following me around as I walked even though I told her hey sorry I don’t have time today, really busy. Even as going far to following me back to my apartments gate from the park. This is when my creepy flag shot up. I then started waking up much earlier and walking my dog at a time to avoid her. Then I tore my achillies playing soccer a few weeks ago so now I cannot walk my dog anymore, but a few people that have walked my dog for me have even mentioned her seeming creepy and following them around (mostly girls that are friends that help walking my dog) Yesterday my dog really had to go outside so I crutched him down stairs and so he could go potty, as I’m going up my stairs I notice her walking around my apartment complex and she doesn’t even live here. Not really sure how to deal with the situation as one I am temporarily handicapped and can’t really get outside. I feel bad that people doing me favors to help me out notice her very weird behavior as well. Just looking for some ideas to address her creepiness. submitted by /u/Contrasted94
