What behaviors do you personally think cross the line from platonic into something more? Is it primarily physical cues or do personal/attentive ones carry more weight? How would you consider these individually or as a consistent pattern • A surprise greeting hug from the side/slightly behind that lifts you off the ground • Remembering something minor you mentioned once casually and acting on it publicly on your behalf months later (including correcting their own family members to get it right for you) • Noticing before you do that you’ve forgotten something small (like a hat on a sunny day) and offering their own • Pulling you into a hug the moment your voice wavers • Noticing from across the room that you need something (without any conversation), disappearing briefly, and returning with exactly what you needed without drawing attention to it • Remembering something you mentioned you liked once and gifting it months later Individually I think they are pretty explainable. As a consistent pattern over a couple years I’m not so sure, but also don’t want to jump to conclusions. This is not the type of situation where he would ever have any way to show feelings in a straightforward way. Just looking for objective opinions on the pattern of behaviors since I’ve never experienced this before. submitted by /u/BabyyManatee
