I randomly fell into a late-night rabbit hole reading about AI-powered reverse face search tools and ended up trying it out of pure curiosity. Honestly, the results were both impressive and a little unsettling. Uploading a single clear photo was enough to surface related public images, old profile pictures, and even accounts tied to usernames I hadn’t seen in years. It feels like reverse image search evolved into something way more powerful. I used a face recognition website called facefinderai. What surprised me most is how different it is from traditional Google image search. Instead of looking for the exact same picture, it seems to analyze facial features themselves, which makes it much better at finding cropped, reposted, or slightly altered images. I can absolutely see the positive side of this tech: spotting fake dating profiles catching impersonation accounts helping with scam investigations finding stolen photos But at the same time… the privacy implications are huge. Most people probably have no idea how searchable their face has become online. submitted by /u/Head_Fisherman4
