Antigravity is honestly full of bugs right now. I mostly use it just to ask questions about my code, but the checkpoint system is the most annoying part for me. Here’s what keeps happening: Let’s say I have a file called dashboard that already has code in it before I even ask the AI to do anything. Then I prompt the coding agent to add a new feature. It makes the changes, but I don’t like the results. So naturally, I try to revert back to the last checkpoint… Instead of just removing the code the AI added, Antigravity literally deletes the entire file. Not the changes, the whole file. Even though the file existed before I asked the AI to edit it. So now I’m stuck restoring files manually or hoping I have backups. This makes checkpoints feel unreliable, because rollback should undo AI edits, not wipe out existing files. Is anyone else experiencing this? Or is there a setting/workflow I’m missing? submitted by /u/internet_thanos
