I find that men often have phases of different hobbies. And when they’re into a hobby, they tend to be willing to spend quite a lot on the gears and stuffs. It’s either all-in or nothing at all, no in between or casual hobby haha. Also they tend to jump into different hobbies, like they spend so much on the gears in one hobby and after a few years of going all in, they grew out of it and found another hobby, and then sell everything from the previous hobby to fund the current one.
