I’m new to Claude Code. I don’t get why everyone is praising Claude for its frontend skills. If you want for it to generate something overall then you might find it okay. But what I do is editing my existing CSS components. It isn’t the best in understanding specific instructions. The code logic it produces is not understandable at all, and it doesn’t delete its own mistake but rather overrides it sometimes. It distributes CSS components in different files. My prompts are very clear. It takes 5 different prompts to literally understand when I basically explain the code shit to it. It doesn’t literally know what’s inline or internal on editing due to generating same CSS stuff in different places for the same components. It is relatively worse than what I thought. I think people will hate on me for this, but this is my honest opinion on trying Claude code (model Opus 4.7, even at MAX). submitted by /u/Humble_Ad_7053
