I started coding April 2nd. This is the tool I built to ship 5 apps in 7 weeks. No coding degree. No bootcamp. I’m a licensed mechanic from Seaside CA and I picked up coding for the first time 7 weeks ago. The hardest part wasn’t the code. It was figuring out what to even ask Claude. Every new project I’d spend hours just trying to get the right context into the conversation before I could build anything. So I built Scaffold. It’s a structured prompt system that breaks any app build into phases. Each phase has a ready to go prompt that already knows your stack, your patterns, and what came before it. You open a new chat, paste the prompt, and build. No re-explaining, no starting from scratch. I’ve used it to ship QR Party, RollCall, Wrench Market, TestYard, and Scaffold itself. All in 7 weeks. All solo. It’s live at runscaffold.com if you want to check it out. Would love any feedback from people who are actually building with Claude. submitted by /u/solo_dev_builds
