Hey All, I have been using Claude code for a month or two now on the Pro plan. I have a normal day job and work on aspirations on the side outside of business hours and family time which usually allows me at best a full five hour session if I sacrifice sleep a bit. I have gone through extensive work with markdown, rules and hooks, (not an expert by any means) to get the token to signal quality right and not burn through everything in a session and it works relatively well. Recently as I’ve been making more gains in projects I feel myself wanting to push the sessions harder for more results faster. I don’t use agents, probably won’t, and I watch Claude like a hawk and make it rearchitect things or scrap things, explain its reasoning to correct it and guardrail it through these sessions which obviously reduces productivity. But! I have been proud of what we produce so far, it is slow, but focused and security and privacy focused. Again, go back to, I really want to move faster now that I am seeing more progress, but have two fears… One is a reduction in quality. If I feel I can push Claude faster and harder for results, I’m concerned I won’t be as diligent with review and ensuring it’s producing reliable and secure code. The second, is that I am concerned I will lose focus and start to chase every feature and design change I can think of without ever realizing I’m not making progress towards a production release. Has anyone else run into this, have experience with this, recommendations from experience? Thanks submitted by /u/ZoneDeadEnded
