Not sure this is a real term, but it’s happened frequently enough in my life I’ve coined it for me. But it’s a relationship you didn’t mean to get into (and generally didn’t have any interest in getting into), but for one reason or another you ended up in it. This happened quite a lot for me. Back when I was younger if I had a stressful situation going on in my life I would use girls as a distraction, I generally would already be talking to a handful people at least at a time when I’d be single… but then something would pop up and would really stress me out and next thing I know I’m moving 2 states away, not inviting a girl and she’s tagging along anyway as we date for a couple years lol submitted by /u/Aggressive-Dot1944
