In the movie, Ethan Hunt is portrayed as our savior and the AI entity as the bringer of end times. This is a deliberate and obvious parallel to the end times story in the book Revelations in the Bible. The narrative and characters are designed to sell tickets and DVDs, and the plot is as a consequence impossible itself. Nothing in this world is so black and white. AI’s power is used currently to defend againsz AI powered exploits, and its power is distributed, not centralized.
