Has anyone else noticed a significant decline in quality in dating apps from 2021-2023 to now? My prompts were less thought out, my photos were all selfies, but I was able to secure more dates through apps then I have been in 2025-2026. Now it just appears the apps mostly consist of scams and ghosting, and it is so disenchanting and exhausting to use them. It feels so unnatural to just endlessly swipe and message and gamble on whether or not a person will reply and if they do if they will ghost. I’d rather just meet a cute woman in a coffee shop or a farmers market or a dance class, even if there are fewer opportunities to meet someone in the real world. submitted by /u/Equivalent_Use_5024
