Fellow men, what’s a change you’ve made or are trying to make to better yourself and your life? It can be anything. Physical health, mental health, relationships, discipline, career, confidence, learning to open up more, becoming calmer, breaking bad habits, healing old wounds, finding peace… anything at all. Big or small, it all matters. For me, one of the biggest changes I made was my relationship with alcohol. Growing up around family members who struggled with alcohol made me realize early on how easily it can take hold of someone, and honestly, that became one of my biggest fears for myself. During COVID, I decided to stop drinking, and looking back, it’s probably one of the best things I’ve ever done for my mental health, clarity, and self-respect. In the last 5–6 years, I’ve probably only had 3 or 4 beers total. It wasn’t about trying to be perfect or judging anyone else, I just wanted a healthier and more peaceful version of myself. I think men carry a lot silently. We don’t always talk about the personal battles, the habits we break, the healing we do, or the quiet progress we make when nobody’s watching. So I’d genuinely love to hear yours. No judgment here whatsoever, only respect. Whatever changes you’ve made, or are still working toward, I hope they lead you to a happier, healthier, and more fulfilled version of yourself. submitted by /u/NotSureWhatsTheDeal
