Following this video, what do you think will be the result? https://youtu.be/Bw5-u/_vWIog?is=SKk8MQE8wvIuNESM Yes or No? For years, many people in Switzerland have felt that population growth is happening too fast and that politicians keep avoiding the issue. This vote is finally giving citizens the opportunity to say clearly: Switzerland cannot grow indefinitely without consequences. The concerns are visible everywhere: rents exploding, housing shortages, overcrowded trains, pressure on roads and public services, loss of green spaces, increasing stress on infrastructure and quality of life. This is not about being against foreigners. Switzerland has benefited enormously from immigration and international talent. But every country has limits, especially a small country with limited land and already very dense urban areas. A YES vote is also a signal that the Federal Council must finally take citizens’ concerns seriously instead of dismissing them for years. Switzerland should remain open and international, but in a controlled and sustainable way that protects living standards and social cohesion. This vote is ultimately about preserving what makes Switzerland special: safety, nature, efficient infrastructure, stability, and quality of life. For me, that is worth protecting. submitted by /u/VersoixM
