Been trying a few AI coding setups recently and honestly curious what people are sticking with long term. Right now I’m torn between: Claude Code + Gemma 4 / GPT-OSS or OpenCode + DeepSeek V4 Flash I care more about real-world coding than benchmarks — good edits, repo understanding, reliability, and not fighting the tool every hour. Also been testing Zed as my IDE and I genuinely love how fast and clean it feels, but I’m still unsure if it’s ready to fully replace VS Code for bigger projects.
