Coming from Codex, where you hit Tab and your message just sits in a queue until the agent finishes the current turn. Clean. Claude Code doesn’t really have that. If I type and send while it’s working, the message gets grabbed at the next pause and derails whatever it was doing, instead of waiting for the turn to actually finish. So in practice it interrupts more than it queues. How are you all dealing with this? submitted by /u/ExistingCard9621
