Hey all! I really need some help. My amazing husband is THE BEST gifter, and I SUCK at gift giving. He will buy me things I don’t even think of wanting, but end up loving. That being said, I am not a shopper. I spend nearly all of my money on our kids, or savings. Very rarely buy things for myself. My husband however, is impulsive and buys everything the second it crosses his mind. But he is such an amazing husband and Dad and I really want to give him something thoughtful. He doesn’t have hobbies (and doesn’t want any), isn’t social, doesn’t drink, and isn’t nerdy (well, he is… but not in the way I can buy him special interest things). Here is some info about him… I am really hoping someone here can help me think of something!

  • He works in IT and is always studying (he has the books he needs, and doesn’t take paper notes)
  • He just got into running (I already bought him Shockz, SPIbelt and sunglasses)
  • He impulsively bought a bag for golf clubs, but doesn’t own any clubs… or go golfing. But maybe I could get some and tell him to go? But I know NOTHING about golf clubs and he is picky
  • Also owns a tacklebox and fishing pole he bought impulsively and never used (He hasn’t ever gone fishing in our 10 years together, but says he used to when he was younger and kind of wants to go… again, I know nothing about fishing or what I could possibly buy him for this interest)
  • He owns several gns and likes to go shoting (not sure if I even have the extra $ to get him something for this interest)
  • He used to play softball (and baseball when he was younger), and likes to watch (not play) soccer (I am trying to get world cup tickets but it’s $$$) Please help! submitted by /u/Inner-Lynx-3971
