I’m using GitHub to write and organize a book. Claude Code is great for doing audits, research, and refactoring the repo. But whenever there’s a prose-based change, it turns everything into generalized AI slop. Claude Code is heavily optimized for programming, but I want it to write prose. Even when I provide extensive guidance—voice, style guides, verbiage, source material and outlines—the resulting text often becomes mushy and generic. Do you have any suggestions? Like can claude code call of version of claude that isn’t tweaked to write code and instead skill for prose? submitted by /u/PhilosophicWax
