OK, so I understand that dialing in what you need is a bit of an art, but these past two days Claude has been munching tokens like crazy. Javascript project. Claude 4.6. Started the session pasting 8 huge files. It was flawless and fast. two days later it’s screwing up bad with every iteration. It just broke something big so I found an older version and pasted it. It literally ate over 35% of my tokens an ended the session before it could commit the single file to memory. Do I just need to be starting new sessions more often or is there something happening with Anthropic? I basically just lost half a workday to this so I’d love any tips on how to help it not happen again, if it is me… An it’s probably me… submitted by /u/GwnMn
