Will keep it short, but in spite of the flaws and lapses done by jagex in recent time (price increase being the worst), OSRS has been one of the few things that has helped me through the toughest period of my life. You see I am currently in the midst of my 5th dose of R-CHOP, a form of chemotherapy for my cancer, Diffuse B-Cell Lymphoma. It is rough, even as I type this I am being afflicted with multiple extremely persistent symptoms such as extreme exhaustion, nausea, and more… The goals and achievements that I can strive for in OSRS have really helped me through these 5 doses and I only have 1 more to go before I am somewhat more free from the curse that is cancer (recent cat scan shows no cancer). I am thankful to the devs both past and present for creating what is in my opinion the best mmo ever. submitted by /u/InstructionFun3541
