I migrated from windsurf to Claude 10 months now. It was great last year. A lot of people say “Claude is nerfed”. At first I thought people didn’t understand how to manage context when projects grow. But now I can’t trust it even to read some docs and search for an endpoint url. I tired 3 different sessions, with 3 different made up endpoints. Used a 4th terminal to understand and it proposed that WebFetch hook was hallucinating and suggested curl. Did not work. It came to the point that I saved the HTML of a docs, to allow Claude to read it from local files. It updated the HTML instead of the code. Then I explained again, it acknowledged the mistake and asked a terminal command to create a PR on the product’s github to “Fix” update the documentation on their side.
