It’s about my cousin. She makes choroscopes central to her life. I want to help her stop embarassing herself with that stuff, but she keeps trying to spread her propaganda to others in the family and friend group. A few other women are like her and they feed eachother’s delusions. She has all the tools - tarrot, crystal ball, black cat, healing crystals, books with conspiracies, choroscopes on youtube, some herbs that burn and they chase away bad spirits / the devil… Yeah, she’s religious too on top of that - crosses, church, traditions… No, she doesn’t care about the contradiction. She ain’t stupid, but when it comes to that stuff she’s making a fool of herself. She won’t listen to logic, reason, astronomy, game theory, confirmation bias. We made an experiment once where I showed her how choroscopes are binary choices, they grt it right about 50%, of the time, she understood and 2 days later she was back to reading them 🤦♂️ Please help me get my cousin back, she’s getting worse with age about this stuff, it’s part of the reason shesstill single and her BFs can’t stand living with her.
