I’m messing around with gemini and codex just cause I’ve been using only CC for months now. Gemini seems trash, codex a bit better. But still nowhere near claude code. First I have to migrate all my skills, claude.md etc. But even then, I just find it even on 5.5 way crappier quality. Doesn’t get what I mean the first time, needs way more supervision. Maybe it’s a skill issue - I would have many hundreds of hours on CC already so I guess I’m used to how it works. Can you really get equal results with codex? Or is it just doomers complaining about CC limits without actually needing top quality? submitted by /u/wingshayz
