curious how other media buyers are handling creative refresh right now, especially for video ads. we have a few creatives where the hook still seems to work, but the asset is clearly getting tired. frequency creeping up, CTR sliding, CPA getting heavier. but the core pacing of the video is still solid. thats the frustrating part. small team problem: we dont really have the bandwidth to fully reshoot or rebuild every time a creative starts fading. and if the hook, rhythm, and body of the video already worked once, im always a little hesitant to regenerate the whole thing from scratch and lose the part that actually made it work. so lately weve been testing lighter creative refreshes instead of full new videos. stuff like: swapping the background changing the model’s outfit color changing the first 1 to 2 seconds visually trying a different caption style keeping the same motion but changing the scene around it lately we’ve been experimenting more with localized edit workflows instead of full regenerations. for this round i used SkyReels mostly because i wanted to test masked replacements without touching the original motion.because i wanted to test mask/replace edits without regenerating the whole clip. mostly background swaps and clothing color changes while keeping the original motion locked. it was useful for making quick variants, but im not treating it as proof that Meta sees them as fully new creatives. not even close. submitted by /u/komnenos_markos
